Proudly serving Schuylkill County and surrounding communities, this Minersville home is seeking a dedicated, compassionate caregiver to provide hands-on, warm support to one client. This client is a double amputee who uses a wheelchair and requires assistance with bathing, toileting, hygiene, and dressing, as well as meal prep, light housekeeping, and transfer support. The caregiver will also accompany the client on errands and doctor appointments, and provide medication reminders. Your presence ensures comfort, dignity, and consistent support across mornings and flexible shifts.
You’ll support with:
• Bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Dressing assistance
• Wheelchair and transfer support for all movements
• Meal preparation and nutrition support
• Light housekeeping, including changing linens
• Accompanying client to errands and doctor appointments
• Medication reminders
• Assistance with incontinence care
• Flexible morning coverage, weekdays and weekends
Must‑have skills & qualities:
• Warm, patient, and dependable presence
• Confident assisting clients with mobility and transfers
• Experience with wheelchair care preferred
• Strong communicator, attentive, and organized
• Able to follow steady routines with compassion
Requirements (must have):
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
• Proof of auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• Must currently reside in Pennsylvania
• 18 years or older
• Able to pass background screening
• Physically able to assist with transfers, mobility, and personal care
