Proudly serving Schuylkill County and surrounding communities, this New Philadelphia home is seeking a warm, dependable caregiver to provide hands-on companionship and cueing for one client living with mild dementia. The client benefits from structured morning and afternoon support, gentle reminders, and meaningful engagement. Your presence creates calm, consistency, and comfort, helping the client maintain routines while staying engaged and confident throughout the day.
You’ll support with:
• Companionship and conversation
• Cueing and gentle reminders throughout the day
• Assisting with structured morning and afternoon routines
• Encouraging participation in daily activities
• Providing reassurance during moments of confusion
Must‑have skills & qualities:
• Warm, patient, and reliable presence
• Experience with Alzheimer’s or dementia care preferred
• Strong communicator and compassionate listener
• Dependable and consistent in following routines
• Ability to provide emotional support and companionship
Requirements (must have):
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
• Proof of auto insurance
• Reliable vehicle
• Must currently reside in Pennsylvania
• 18 years or older
• Able to pass background screening
